TATOC
"TATOC (The Association of Timeshare Owners Committees) is an association for owner committee members who are elected or appointed by the timeshare owners from resorts around the UK and Europe and who represent the views of their resort members.
The Association is a non-profit making organisation, which was established in 1989 by a group of owner committee members so that they could meet and exchange ideas and information with committees’ from other resorts.
Since the formation in 1989 TATOC has developed and now has members from resorts in the UK, Ireland, Spain and the Canary Islands, France Portugal, Madeira and Cyprus. TATOC also has links with C.A.R.E. (The Co-operative Association of Resort Exchangers), which is also a non-profit making organisation with similar objectives based in the USA.
TATOC is recognised by the European Timeshare Industry (OTE) as the only official voice for Timeshare Owners. TATOC has joined with OTE (Organisation for Timeshare in Europe) to establish VOICE (Vacation Owners Independent Coalition Europe) the first co-regulatory body that is a coalition to safeguard the interests of timeshare owners/consumers and promote timeshare throughout Europe."
